Discontinue Fedora 42
T-Cloud Public image Standard_Fedora_42 will be discontinued on 31st July 2026.
what does that mean?
public images will be no longer listed in T-Cloud public image list
- Standard_Fedora_42_amd64_bios_latest
- Standard_Fedora_42_amd64_uefi_latest
T-Cloud public internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_Fedora_42 images will be available until end of August 2026. https://imagefactory.otc.t-systems.com/package-repositories
Already existing ECS installed with one of these images
- existing ECS installed with one of these images can be reinstalled
- existing ECS installed with one of these images can be used to create a new ECS
A new ECS can still be installed with a discontinued image by using its image id directly. Using a discontinued image is without T-Cloud public support.
It is recommended to migrate existing ECS to
- Standard_Fedora_43_amd64_bios_latest
- Standard_Fedora_43_amd64_uefi_latest
Discontinue Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6
T-Cloud public image Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6 will be discontinued on 4th of August 2026.
What does that mean?
The following Public images will be no longer listed in T-Cloud public image list
- Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6_amd64_uefi_latest
- Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6_amd64_uefi_prev
- Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6_amd64_bios_prev
- Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6_amd64_bios_latest
T-Cloud Public internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_openSUSE-Leap_15.6 images will be available until 4th of November 2026.
